Southern Turnpike CCTV Upgrades

HBC is supporting Florida's Turnpike Enterprise with Southern Turnpike CCTV upgrades across SR-91 / Florida's Turnpike Mainline, SR-821 / Homestead Extension of Florida's Turnpike, and multiple service plazas including Snapper Creek, Pompano Beach, West Palm Beach, Fort Pierce, and Fort Drum.

The work includes utility coordination and engineering support for the installation of additional Closed-Circuit Television cameras. HBC is coordinating with utility and agency owners identified through Sunshine 811 design tickets, helping detect conflicts early and verify compatibility between proposed CCTV infrastructure and existing utility systems.

By serving as a liaison between design teams, utility owners, and the client, HBC helps secure utility clearances, address potential conflicts, and support timely adjustments. The expanded CCTV coverage will improve operational awareness during peak traffic and emergency scenarios, with future use for traffic data collection.
