Small Diameter Water Main Replacement Program

HBC is supporting Miami-Dade County Water and Sewer Department through the Q16 A&D Small Diameter Water Main Replacement Program. The program advances the planning and phased design of replacement water mains and associated consumer line relocations across Miami-Dade County.

The work includes route feasibility studies, survey coordination, subsurface utility engineering, geotechnical investigations, permitting, procurement support, and preparation of construction documents. The program includes approximately 48,080 linear feet of 8-inch water main, 8,072 linear feet of 12-inch water main, and 4,282 linear feet of 16-inch water main.

HBC's role includes program management, design support, utility coordination, project controls, and engineering oversight through construction phases when they advance. This support helps keep planning, permitting, quality, compliance, and delivery requirements aligned with the County's infrastructure goals.
