Riverwalk North Seawall Replacement
HBC supports utility coordination and waterfront infrastructure delivery for the Riverwalk North seawall replacement in Fort Lauderdale.
HBC is supporting the City of Fort Lauderdale with the Riverwalk North Seawall Replacement Project, spanning approximately 500 feet west from the Andrews Avenue bridge toward the Ferromex train tracks. The project replaces aging waterfront infrastructure while supporting continued use and improvement of the Riverwalk public realm.
HBC is overseeing utility relocations and conflict resolution for utilities attached to the existing concrete catwalk, along with replacement of utility stations and electrical shore-tie pedestals. The work requires close coordination with utility and agency owners so utility adjustments align with the installation of new sheet piling, fixed docks, and floating docks with amenities.
The team also supports design and construction through data collection, existing conditions review, identification of deteriorated structural elements, preconstruction meetings, and review of shop drawings, product data, and submittals for compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
