Port Everglades Master Vision Plan

Port Everglades is a major economic engine for Broward County, supporting cargo, cruise, and bulk liquid operations. For the Port Everglades Master Vision Plan update, HBC provided traffic engineering and master planning support focused on improving traffic flow, truck circulation, and parking performance across the port.

Our team performed traffic analysis, parking assessments, and financial feasibility evaluations to create data-driven recommendations for future operations. The traffic and parking work included field data collection, truck counts, circulation and capacity reviews, safety assessments at key freight gates, and long-range modeling to understand how future demand could affect the port's internal network.

HBC also developed an integrated financial model covering revenue and expense scenarios for cruise, cargo, and bulk liquid activity. That work produced profit-and-loss forecasts and key financial ratios that help Broward County evaluate infrastructure investments, improve freight mobility, and plan for sustainable long-term growth.
