Districtwide Traffic Operations Data Collection

HBC serves FDOT District 4 through a districtwide traffic operations data collection continuing services contract. The work supports task work orders across Broward, Palm Beach, Indian River, Okeechobee, and Martin counties, helping the District collect reliable information for traffic operations and planning decisions.

Project tasks include turning movement counts, spot speed and speed profile data, volume and classification counts, pedestrian and bicycle data, and travel time and delay data. HBC coordinates field collection activities, processes collected information, and prepares data for use by project teams.

The assignment also supports signal warrant analysis, crash analysis, speed studies, gap studies, and miscellaneous traffic engineering studies as directed by the District. This continuing services role gives FDOT a responsive resource for data-driven traffic operations decisions across a broad districtwide program.
